Ahmed Abdullah Maher, 25, a Yemeni journalist, was arrested and forcibly disappeared on August 6, 2022, by the security services of the Transitional Council in the southern Yemeni governorate of Aden. He has been tortured to confess charges that provide the death penalty under Yemeni law.
